Following the launch of Amendment 2 of the BS7671 Wiring Regulations (A2:2022), NET has issued the following guidance around all AM2 assessments:
The Section E online knowledge assessment will be version neutral and can be completed with either copy of BS7671.
From 26 September 2022, online knowledge and practical assessments will incorporate Amendment 2 and will be assessed in line with the new Brown edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018 + A2:2022).
Until that point, all practical assessments will be assessed in line with the Blue edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018).
Any changes to practical assessments and forms will be announced by 31 August 2022, to allow centres and candidates to prepare before the 26 September implementation date. NET will also update all relevant preparation materials ahead of this date.
