Any EWA candidates registered from 04 September 2023 will be on V1 of the AM2E assessment to align with the revised apprenticeship standard. Different fees apply-please see below for details.
The AM2Ev1 .1 Assessment is for experienced workers/ mature candidates who are completing the ‘Experienced Worker Assessment’. This assessment can only be taken once you have gained the Experienced Worker Qualification (Proof of qualification required for candidate approval before you can book the AM2Ev1.1). The duration of the assessment is 18.45 hours.
The AM2 competence assessment comprises of six sections A – E:
Section A1: Safe Isolation and Risk Assessment – 45 minutes
Section A2 – A6: Composite Installation – 10.5 hours
Section B: Inspection, Testing and Certification – 3.5 hours
Section C: Safe Isolation – 30 minutes
Section D: Fault Diagnosis and Rectification – 2 hours
Section E: Assessment of Applied Knowledge (Online Examination) – 1.5 hour
Candidates will never be charged more for their resits than the total price of their relevant assessment. Therefore, the total price for resits is capped at £1200.00 plus VAT for the AM2Ev1 .1 assessment.

At the end of the assessment NET Services will contact you directly via email to inform you of your results.
In the event that you wish to appeal any part of your assessment there is an Appeals process, following NET Services recommendation. Please ensure that this process is followed.
