AM2 Preparation

About the AM2/AM2s/AM2e Preparation Courses

We offer a number of courses throughout the year designed to assist you in preparing for your full assessment.

These are ‘refresher type**’ courses designed to assist in your revision and are recommended prior to you sitting the full assessment. The courses are offered over either a 1 or 2 day period, depending on the type of assessment you will be undertaking and the level of revision required.

The AM2/AM2e is an important stage that you will need to undertake to gain your JIB Gold Card and/or your well-earned recognition in the industry. The AM2s is now the approved end-point assessment for the Electrical Installation Apprenticeship standard in England. The AM2 is also currently used in the Apprenticeship Framework in Wales.

It is recommended that you undertake your preparation course as close to the actual date of your full assessment as possible.

**preparation courses are not intended to teach any particular aspect of the assessment from scratch and all candidates would be expected to be ready for their assessment as per the NET Candidate Checklist.
